  • Harvest Festival

    Fri 17 Oct 2014

On Friday the whole school celebrated the Christian festival of Harvest. We learnt about how Harvest is celebrated all over the world and why it is important and then presented what we had learnt to the school. We decorated harvest boxes and made food donations to a local charity Helping Hands.

  • The Two Steves

    Thu 09 Oct 2014

After a summer of reading, and in conjunction with Leicester City Libraries, Medway pupils were rewarded for their hard work in completing the Mythical Maze reading challenge. As a part of this, the Two Steves – Steve Barlow and Steve Skidmore – came into school to give an assembly on the importance of reading. With the help of Captain Underpants, Vikings and World War 2 code breakers, Steve and Steve had the whole school laughing, smiling and enjoying reading.

  • Y4 Eid assembly

    Fri 03 Oct 2014
As a part of our religious festival days, Y4 performed an outstanding assembly to the school, explaining about the Muslim festival of Eid al-Adha. The assembly was attended by many friends and family of Year 4, a reflection of the fantastic support and community that our school work has. Through discussion with parents, pupils and staff, what became clear was that everyone was amazed at the fantastic level of performance by everyone in Y4!
  • Anti-Bullying Assembly

    Fri 03 Oct 2014
We were fortunate to have a group of pupils from Regents College in school today to discuss bullying. They spoke about the different forms of bullying, the impact it has and the correct actions to take if you are being bullied. From this we have launched a Stop! Go tell! antibullying campaign within school
