Our New School Uniform

 

We will no longer be stocking our school uniform in school.  You will be able to buy it in store from Uniform Direct, Humberstone Gate, Leicester (near to Sainsbury’s).At the moment you will not be able to visit the store because of lock down but you can order online if you wish.  Please click on this link to take you directly to the page you need. https://www.uniform-direct.com/acatalog/Medway-Community-Primary-School.html

We still have some old stock in stock in school which we are selling at half price which you can buy from school in September.

New contact-less paying system

 

We are delighted to welcome you to the SCOPAY Online Payment system at our school from 1st September 2020. The system will allow you to view balances and pay for school lunches, milk, Breakfast Club and school trips online.  You will not need to send cash, cheques into school or pay by debit card.  You can pay online instead.

You can use the same online account to link yourself and any children you have at this school and to link children at other schools using the SCOPAY secure system. 

 

You will shortly receive by email a Welcome letter giving you a link code to register an account with SCOPAY.  Please follow the instructions on the letter.  There will be some Parental Guides to help you.

NEW- Online Video Lessons

 

From Wednesday 17 June we are launching online video lessons for pupils to view. Please encourage your children to also continue completing work on DB Primary and Purple Mash. You can find the YouTube channel for each year group at http://medway.me.

22 May 2020 Letter to parents- update about the reopening.

Cancellation of Paris trip 2020

 

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, and in accordance with guidelines issued by the government regarding school trips abroad, we have sadly had to cancel our trip to Paris, scheduled for June 8th. All those who have made payments towards the trip will be entitled to a full refund of the amount paid. The school office staff will be contacting you in the near future to arrange these repayments. Any debit/credit card refunds will need to be issued to the same card that was used at the time of payment, this can be done over the phone or in person. Cash refunds can only be given up to the value of £200 and only if the payment was made in cash originally.

School Nurse Services

 

The school nurse will be available on

 

Tuesday 19th March 2019 from 9.00am-10.30am (in the old Cork room).

 

The nurse will be giving a talk on 'Positive Parenting' followed by a drop

in session to discuss any issues/concerns parents may have about their child.

 

 

A big THANK YOU to all the parents that attended the Digital Safety Workshop, yesterday. We thoroughly enjoyed educating you on the current issues around Internet Safety, outlining the positives and negatives to such a fantastic resource. As Promised, the presentation can be viewed below.

CHANGES TO EXTENDED HOLIDAY RULES -From March 2014

We've had 9 6 3 3 4 visitors
Due to the extended lock-down measures in Leicester, the school will be closed from 12.30pm on Wednesday 1st July for all year groups. It will only remain open for its most vulnerable children. Please read your email or look in the noticeboard section for full details. Please stay safe and we look forward to welcoming you back on 1 September 2020.
