Internet Safety Workshop for Children in Year 1 - 6
Children enjoyed their visit from MC Wandless of Leicestershire Police on Monday and Tuesday, where he delivered a presentation about Internet Safety. The children are taught during their Computing Lessons a variety of tips and safety features which give them security and safety whilst using the World Wide Web.
The presentation and videos varied from one year group to another, with an indepth converage on cyberbullying.
Safety for children on the Internet
Be careful when you are using the internet. It can help you to keep in touch with your friends and find out things – but it can also cause harm – to you and to others.
Remember help is always available at school to help you if you are having any problems online.
Don’t be afraid to talk to your teacher or other adult at school.

Make sure you keep new online friends strictly online. If someone you don't know asks to be your online friend you must ensures an adult knows about it.
