Best book is a wonderful initiative run by Leicester City Library every year for Year 5 and 6 children. The children get to read twenty amazing books and pick their favourites. The winning five books get distributed to schools all across Leicester- we get fifteen free copies of each!
Today, when a Leicester Library representative visited, the children in B5, G5 and M5 got to vote for their five favourites and were very excited by the discussions that ensued. We're all very enthusiastic readers and eagerly anticipate the day that the winning books will be revealed.
