    Dear Parents, Carers,

     

    We understand that some of your children are continuing to have  trouble logging on to the online learning platforms.

     

    Someone will be available to take your calls during term time between 10am to 2pm.

     

    Please note, that they can only answer phone call queries. So if your child needs their log in details, or you require other support then please call the school between the times mentioned above.

  • COVID 19 INFORMATION

    Your child should now be at home. 

    But for certain groups, we'll be opening our schools. If you’re a key worker, or your child has an education, health and care plan or a social worker, we have a helpline available.

  • School Closure: COVID 19

    Following government action, Medway Community Primary School is closed for most children from today until further notice. Children of key workers and those in specific vulnerable groups may still attend. For further information on the school closure, please visit our COVID-19 page by clicking here, or selecting it from the 'About Us' drop-down menu.

     

    If you are unsure about whether your child is permitted to attend, please check with your employer.

    If you are eligible, please contact the school using the contact form on this website, or by emailing office2@medway.leicester.sch.uk.  During term time, staff are available to take calls during the hours of 9.30-2.30pm.  

     

    Children should learn from home using our virtual learning environments. More information on this can be found by selecting our 'Learning from Home' page on the 'Children' drop-down menu, or by clicking here.

     

    Please read the E-safety policy found under the key information tab.  

  • Should you need support from a food bank over these testing times. Please read the information carefully.

  • Our Student Council have been working with Mr Williams to design a new school uniform!

    Today our student council met with Mr Williams and Mrs Miah to see a prototype of the new school uniform that they have helped to design!

     

    The new logo is based on the concept of 'Family' and communicates how important our school community is, and will continue to be, to past, present and future pupils.

     

    Once you are a Medway pupil, you are always a Medway pupil!

  • Lunchtime clubs starting this week (Monday 2nd March 2020)

    From Monday 2nd March, lunchtime clubs will be starting for years 4, 5 and 6. We are excited to be offering the following clubs, on the following days:
     

    Monday - Performing Arts Club (Miss Hartley)

    Tuesday - Book Club (Mr Hill)

    Wednesday - Origami / Mindfulness Club (Mrs Sattar)

    Thursday - Choir (Miss Hartley and Miss Pierce)

    Friday - Debate Club (Mr Watkins)

     

    Sign up sheets went out before the half term, and chidren have been assigned places on a first come, first serve basis. If you have not been allocated a place this term, you will be on the waiting list!

     

    Here is a photo of the children in Book Club today, reading 'A Christmas Carol'. We can't wait to hear their thoughts...
