Day 3 Florence.

Hello Parents. Today we visited Gallerie dell'Accademia. Here we admired some great works of Michelangelo. The statue of David was impressive. Next we visited Palazzo Vecchio, which was stunning. We climbed the tower to get a panoramic view of the city. 

We then took a stroll in the sunshine accross the Ponte Vecchio. After our lunch we visited our work shop and each participated in Affresco painting. Lastly we took a trip to Boboli Gardens, which was beautiful. We only managed to see a quarter of the gardens as it is huge! After our evening meal, we were ready for bed. 

Florence day 2. 

Good morning parents. We are all up and scrambling to get showered and ready in time for our 7.30am breakfast. As soon as we have eaten, we will head out for a day of adventure! Don't worry, the passports are safe, the sun cream on and we have plenty of water. The weather is already atat 14 degrees! More about our day later. 

We have had a lot of fun today. We climbed 463 step at Il Duomo, then went back for more and climbed 414 steps at Giotto's Bell Tower!!

The sights were amazing, we also visited St John's Baptistery, The Crypt of Santander Reparata, the famous Uffizi Gallery.
